We are a cottage industry mill specializing in all the Belfast Mini Mill line of milling equipment for processing fiber. We are unique in that we are very customize to each customer. We take small amounts of fiber from each fiber artist and process that fiber to each customers needs. We use a very specific 10 step process to produce the best yarn possible. Each step we take insures the quality of return on product.

We take in one customer's fiber at a time, never allowing anyone's elses fiber in the mill during that time, and complete that order before proceeding to the next. This is to insure that every customer is returned their personal fiber and that there is no mixing or cross-contamination of other fibers.

Since we do not store fiber, or take in fiber prior to the scheduled processing date our turn around time is much quicker for the individual customer. Generally 1-2 months from from drop off; depending on the min/max amount submitted.

We return all fiber with minimal amount of loss. An expected 20% or more loss can be the case with alpaca. However, we have seen a loss as low as 7% in our mill. Our feeling is that the lower loss is due to the care and time in processing the fibers, as well as, the cleanliness of the fiber. Also, we maximize the amount of return of processed fiber. There is very little waste; ( i.e. unsuable fiber ).
